On-site Facilities
Literally hundreds of families and groups have enjoyed the magic of Mas Sarrat over the last few years.
Everything has been conceived to ensure fun and excitement, giving children the freedom to roam safely in the enclosed grounds. The layout of the garden has been designed so that children can go from garden to playbarn safely, by themselves, with no danger of accessing the fully-secured pool area (which complies with current safety regulations). There is a large toy box by the pool with various flotation aids and toys.
The enormous indoor playbarn is equipped with soft play, a toy kitchen, ride-on toys and a huge array of colouring, building, puzzles and other activities.
We take safety very seriously and the cottages have been as child-proofed as possible. The terraces have lockable closing gates and there are child-proof locks on all upstairs windows. Stair gates, plug socket protectors, non-slip mats for the baths and bed guards are all available on request.
Swimming pool
The beautiful, sunny, swimming pool, has lovely views of the surrounding countryside, is fully enclosed, with a security gate for safety and has comfortable, contemporary loungers, parasols and chairs – perfect for play and relaxation.
Pool towels are provided and the pool is guaranteed to be open (and heated if necessary) from the start of May to the end of September although, depending on the weather, it may be longer.
Pool terrace, play barn and garden
The spectacular 80m² play barn is a very special feature of Mas Sarrat. It has proved a real hit in both rainy and hot weather, offering the opportunity to relax in the shade and where children can play in a secure, sheltered environment. There’s also ping-pong, table football, badminton and sofas to relax.
It is overflowing with games and toys including ping-pong, table football, badminton, soft play equipment, large dressing-up cupboard, play-kitchen area and sofas to relax. There is also a quiet reading and colouring corner with a plentiful supply of colouring and drawing equipment.
Outside, the large, fully enclosed garden has even more to explore, with a huge trampoline, a playhouse and slide, swings, a climbing rope and the Lollipop sandpit.
Meet the Animals
From mid-July to the end of August, a highlight at Mas Sarrat is our fun animal petting farm! Meet our pygmy goats - Lottie and Bianca, Tiny Tim, Silly Billy and Lynn. Collect freshly-laid eggs from the chicken coop and give the chickens their breakfast.
Twice a week the animals will come out to play and meet our guests - the perfect opportunity for children to learn first-hand about animals and have the chance to feed and groom them - hugely popular! AND ... weather permitting we are invited to our neighbouring petting farm to meet pigs, sheep, chicks, and more...
Honesty Bar
Use our 'honesty bar' stocked with useful basics: milk, pasta, pasta sauces, snacks, delicious homemade meals and, of course, soft drinks, cold beers, local rose, red wines and champagne!
Babysitting
Babysitters who speak French, English or Duch can be arranged with adequate advance notice. This service is VERY popular locally during the school holidays and cannot be guaranteed. Price on application, but generally between €12 and €18 per hour. Maximum 2 children per sitter.
