Le Mas Sarrat offers everything you need for an easier family holiday; a relaxed family getaway in the Lot region of South West France, created around the things that make travelling with children feel simpler: safe places to play, practical equipment, welcoming accommodation and plenty to do in the sunshine (or rain.
Book both cottages together and your family can spread out across six bedrooms while sharing the pool, gardens and easy rhythm of life here. A separate one-bedroom apartment can add further flexibility, subject to availability.

Family experiences
Sunny mornings, poolside afternoons, garden adventures, barbecues as the evening stretches out… July and August at Le Mas Sarrat are made for family summer holidays, with plenty to keep children busy and space for the adults to unwind in the evenings.
The enclosed garden invites days of outdoor play, with swings, a trampoline, a playhouse and a sandpit. Children can meet the animals on-site, enjoy supervised feeding and even take them on walks! When it’s time for some shade, the 80 m² barn has a soft play area with games, table tennis and table football.
Head out together to discover the Lot region’s villages, markets and family attractions. Pack a picnic for Lac Vert (made by Fiona herself), where July and August offers pedalo and kayak hire, explore Cahors on its little train or try pony riding and pottery painting. Return for a swim before gathering on your private terrace for a barbecue and stories about the day.
From beds and cots prepared in advance to a welcome basket of breakfast essentials, Le Mas Sarrat helps your holiday begin with ease. With Fiona’s local knowledge to guide your days out and restaurant choices, you can settle into summer and make the most of your time together.

Our 11th stay at Mas Sarrat, and once again, the best yet!
Highlights were the Fete de Loubejac, boating from Caix, a super Friday night dinner, drinks and music for a huge crowd at Le bar a trucs in Lherm, a newly-discovered 45-minute walk through the forest near Mas Sarrat and lastly, a fab day at St Circ Lapopie and biking through the tunnels. Oh, and of course, le lac Vert and the inflatables!
We love Mas Sarrat so much, it is a very special place for us and Fiona is a very special lady. Liam loved feeding the goats and chickens and going on walks with Fiona.”
