Hi, I'm Fiona.

In 2002 we packed up suburban UK life and moved to Mas Sarrat with two children, James 4, and Tilly 2, chasing adventure and a simpler way of life. We found it — real community, the luxury of time and space, beautiful surroundings, delicious seasonal food and… plenty of vineyards!

Previously I had run luxury holiday properties in France and Colorado, and a high-end catering business. That was what I loved… and in 2015 was able to realise my dream in France, two cottages and a bed and breakfast, available for families, friends and visitors from all over the world. I was once again able to offer hospitality and more importantly to share this wonderful part of France  with others — Mas Sarrat was born.

It's your holiday, so you decide how involved I am. I live in the hamlet, on hand whenever you need me — for restaurant bookings, cycle routes, walks, and the best river swimming spots (and emergencies). Or if you'd rather I disappear and leave you to it, that works too.

I am privileged to be the current custodian of this special place, dating from the 1700s — and love sharing it. Expect comfortable accommodation, a very warm welcome, but most importantly time for your family and friends and to immerse yourself in a beautiful, peaceful environment.
