Two adjoining cottages and an independent apartment, a heated pool, peaceful gardens and all the space your group needs to reconnect, explore and relax.
Set in the countryside near the medieval village of Lherm, our two adjoining three-bedroom cottages and optional independent apartment, give groups a unique, private space to relax and unwind in the beautiful Lot region in the South-West of France.
Book both cottages together and your group can spread out across six bedrooms and have private use of the entire domain; pool, gardens and outdoor eating terraces . A separate one-bedroom apartment can add further flexibility, subject to availability.
Come with friends for an active break or simply gather around the table. You can fill every day, or happily do very little at all.

Group activities
Slow mornings. Long lunches. A woodland walk from the door. A bike ride through the countryside. A morning browsing the markets, tasting local wine or trying your hand at pottery. At Le Mas Sarrat, you can build the holiday around whatever brings your group together.
The off-peak season (May, June, September and October) is a wonderful time to gather your friends and explore the Lot region at a gentler pace. Think spring walks through wildflowers and orchids, leisurely vineyard visits and markets filled with seasonal produce. Return for a swim in the heated pool from May to September, or settle inside by the fire on an October evening.
From July to August, the long summer days offer plenty of reasons to escape to South West France and to make the most out of outdoor living. Spend mornings exploring the villages and markets, afternoons beside the pool and evenings sharing a barbecue on the terrace. Walk to the village bar for delicious wines, beers, music and home made food. For families and friends holidaying together, there’s time for adventures and plenty of opportunity to simply enjoy each other’s company.

French Immersion and Pottery Courses
At Le Mas Sarrat, our French immersion courses and pottery sessions offer a chance to learn something new while enjoying a countryside escape. Gather your friends and discover the language, creativity and everyday pleasures of South West France.
Hosted by Fiona and led by experienced French teacher Soline, our French courses are tailored to what you would like to learn. With a maximum of four students, there’s plenty of personal attention, with outings and conversations bringing the language to life beyond the classroom.
For a creative escape, join Fiona’s sister, Jennie Gilbert, for a two-day or four-day pottery course in our bright, well-equipped workshop. Open to adults of all abilities, small groups give you time and support to develop your skills, with leisurely lunches adding to the relaxed atmosphere.
Whichever experience you choose, accommodation at Le Mas Sarrat gives you a welcoming base to learn, explore and enjoy time together.
